prized posessions?

Recommended Posts

Got a box of bones, feathers, jars of sand, skulls etc, all bits and pieces i have picked up on my travells, that came to me at funny moments.

Also got a few things from my grandfather, who was one of my best friends and a man i hugely respected, they include, some of his army gear from ww2, and a 'book of common prayer', in the back of which he wrote down every place he visited during the war, in many many countries, ironicly he wasn't religious at all.

Apart from that, my ferrets, mutts and familly.

Got the family crest from my grandad, also his letter about the d-day landings. My huge book collection means a lot and i can remember where i bought each book, the fact is though that my most prized "possesions" are my family and my dogs................

When my folks got married my dad never had a Wedding ring, he had a watch instead. I now wear that when we go out. He also dug up a Gold ring in the garden a long time ago. After lots of searching it was found out to be a "Posy ring" about 400?? years old, 22ct gold. My wife now wears it as her Wedding ring.

On a personal note, all my Rugby ties and my County cap.

I got my nan's engagement ring after she died, my best man is a jeweller and took the diamonds out to make my wifes engagement ring. The gold from my nans ring is made into a part of my wedding ring. I think its better to have it with us all the time than sat somewhere in a drawer
