Im guessing you have a Walnut stock on the HW100, which is normally finnished with oil, not laquer. If it is, then no problems mate, start off with a medium paper to get rid of most of the dings, then use a fine wet and dry paper dipped in the stock oil to finnish off. Then add more oil to the whole stock, palming it in. I use English Walnut Oil preperation and CCL Gunstock Conditioning oil both good. They may even come out with a wet cloth and an iron bud, depending how deep and big they are Bill. Quote Link to post

Better with the cloth and iron mate, wouldnt bother with a kettle personaly. Or a hot spoon would do with the damp cloth, easier to handle Let us know how you get on Chris. ATB. Bill.
