riohog 5,939 Posted September 27, 2011 Report Share Posted September 27, 2011 Forget to add, if you dont lay off now and rethink this and give the dog some time to mature this dog will be ruined, and you only have yourself to blame, i dont understand the mad rush to have a 7 month old pup running, 'cos thats all it is a pup, and rather than enter it slowly and have it working for ten or so seasons you are on the fast track to wrecking it........ whin 463 Posted September 27, 2011 Report Share Posted September 27, 2011 5 months lol 7 months i have had dogs catching odd rabbs were i know they will bit better left till 9 month i have mine ferreting from young 12 weeks netted rabbs etc ,then they see nothing till 7 months but every dog is diffrent had a coursing bitch take till 13 month to catch hares years ago by 15 months was doing them any were in the late ninties , could had spioled her chaseing bunnies at 7 month held her back and let her get netted rabbs and bolters she came on well ,no rush just use yer brain ,you have 5 good seasons or more in her so no rush and no piont too prove Quote Link to post
