mikeyblue 28
Evening All, Last night I noticed a black insect looking thing around the groin of my dog. It looked very much like a small beetle. I didnt give it much thought thinking he jus picked it up on his walk. I have just checked him again tonight and it is still there. Will pop out tomorrow and get some Frontline and hope it budges it. Any ideas what it is and will Frontline do the trick? Kind Regards, Mikey. P.S sorry if its a daft question, just never come accross this on him before!
Mooch. 177
I don't really feel I can offer that much advise on this cos I started a similar thread yesterday! All I will say is buy a tick remover with the Frontline and get that little fecka off your dog ASAP.

mikeyblue 28
Cheers Lads, Have Frontlined him this morning. Just checked over him and seems to have done the trick for now. Will order one of them Tick-twister's, they seem just the ticket. Many Thanks, Mikey.
Attack Fell Terrier 864
Make sure you Frontline your dog every two months, and if you come across any other ticks use a tick remover to get rid of them, so you can discard them properly.
deadlyshot 25
I brought a dog comb that is actually for removing loose hair so the teeth on the comb was pretty close together and my dog got in feasted somehow so i just combed her with that and gets them out a treat every time i even used it on my ferret the other day pukka thing really just make sure the head is out then once removed give a dose of frontline you should be sorted
martync1967 64
ticks are normally a grey brown color and have a rubber sort of feel to them, just pull the little fecker off and check your dog every time you have been out
