The one 8,588
No got any picts but we just set them right threw a gap in the hedge you can set them up on poles but the smaller ones i just set on nettle stalks etc If im going threw a fence at the hedge i just put the net threw the fence and open it up as soon as theres room ,i only use them to stop rabbits running up and down the back of the hedge as if theres a bad bit we will ferret it with out nets and try to catch the rabbits further up Quote Link to post

The one 8,588
Two poles to a net no end pins im no looking to tension the net and i dont know about ditches theres only one bad hedge i use them on i far prefer to purse net every hole rather than use long nets etc Quote Link to post
Mick C. 229
If its twelve yards i would give it five yards one side of the hedge take it throgh the hedge if possible five yards the other side I use poles to keep the the net up Forgot to mention. If the net wont go through the hedge i would p lace a large purse net/poke net inthe middle of the hedge. Edited September 24, 2011 by Mick C. Quote Link to post

Leeview 792
alternatively you could put a 12 yarder each side of the hedge (90degrees) and push an old feed bag into the middle of the hedge 3or4yds before the nets, spooking the rabbits into leaving the cover of the hedge and into the nets Y.I.S Leeview Quote Link to post
