davyt63 1,845
hi buddy 190 bar is the recommended fill, but i would fill to 160.as this is the rifles sweet spot,i guess that's what your mate is saying? that's when the rifle is at its most accurate, and shoot down to about 105/110bar . hope this helps regards Davy Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Hi mate, I owned a S310 the 10 shot version of the S300 many years ago when they first came out after watching a Fred Carter DVD. They are very accurate rifles and mine accounted for the odd rabbit or 2 back in the day. Im not sure if they ever managed to change the fill adaptor on the S300 to the one the S400 and S410 now use but a bit of advice is, if its the older fill adaptor then really keep it clean as the smallest grain of dust that gets on it it causes the rifle to leak. I know most rifles will but when i say slight bit of dust or grit i really do mean a grain of it and it will leak so slow that you can hardly tell until the morning when the rifle has lost a100 bar or more. I went through 3 fill adaptors and rubber o rings in about 6 months with mine and ended up selling it and getting a springer. Its just a bit of advice pal to keep you shooting without problems. Great rifle though mate and so accuarte as i said. ATB Si. Quote Link to post
