BRINGING A YOUNG DOG ON

Recommended Posts

if your doing hares with the dog mate just take it easy and dont run it to hard, i would not let it chase to many rabbits as rabbit run into holes and the dog will learn to stop at hedges ect, just give it few easy slips and let it get a few under its belt  (tommy.c)

Forget about running it at quarry until its used to you,you know its faults and rectify them[stock breaking, return on command, retrieving etc.]Get its fitness up,when all this as been achieved then start bunny bashing for a few months, before you move on to other things.
