lksopener 105
Hello chaps, Getting all my stuff inline to get out this season. Got 3 collars all ready for the ferrets but I have a fourth ferret, a quite large hob who a normal length Deben collar won't fit so for the fourth collar I need a solution, has anyone else come across this? Does any one else have a problem with the Deben collars not being long enough? If so did anyone manage to find an alternative? I have had a look round the local pet shops but nothing suitable. Cheers lads, Liam Quote Link to post
tegater 789
Liam. I dont know if this is any use, but I bought a harness for mine last year from Bridport nets, and its basically 2 collars linked together, but they can both pull out to use seperatley. One of the collars is slightly longer than the Deben ones, and the same width, and brown in colour. They may be OK. (£3.60) If you can wait till this evening, I can measure them, if somebody else doesnt come up with a better solution. PM me if you want me to do this. It might be easier than making your own out of sheet leather. Quote Link to post
lksopener 105
Hello mate, Thanks for the offer I have a harness which I bought on the same info and even that one is too short. There are some longer ones on eBay but I'll wait a while to see if there are any other solutions. Thanks for the offer. Liam Quote Link to post

lksopener 105
He's defo a ferret boys just a big lad and not because he is an overweight bloody fluffy show ferret like you see on the net. I will try and get a snap up of him next to one of my 'normal' sized jills! I can't seem to find leather cat collars they all seem to be breakaway collars now should the cat get hooked up on something. Liam Quote Link to post
The one 8,598
You talking about the mk1 collars ?. because the mk3 is inter changeable with the terrier collar so just swap it on to a terrier collar and cut off the excess Quote Link to post
