JoeD 24
What do you mean :hmm:If you mean if the ferrets will cope with the winter months then i'm sure they will be fine, I am more concerned if we have a heat wave in the summer thats when ferrets struggle. Quote Link to post
The one 8,592
Aye the heat bothers them more than the cold .But all you need is a roomy waterproof hutch out the draughts Quote Link to post
loveferreting 2
yea thats what i mean cause people have said to me some ferrets die in winter on a hard winter i got a ferret court they should be fine in there shouldnt they Quote Link to post
Cannyboy 34
They will be fine inside your court mate just pop couple of boxes in there if you can with nice bit of straw and they be snug as bugs in rug!! All the best cannyboy Quote Link to post
max abell 198
As already said mate its the heat thats a killer to ferrets not the cold with there winter coats a dry court/hutch and plenty of warm bedding and they will be fine Quote Link to post
joe14 98
As others have said, gotta keep em cool in the heat. Mine have lots of blankets from quid shop and shredded paper in winter. When I put my hand in there its red hot! They grow nice big fluffy coat aswell & sleep in a pile Quote Link to post
Elmer Fudd 2011 39
old ferrets can some times have a hard time in cold wether if you think they are then put a mate in TWO FERRETS ARE WORMER THAN ONE Quote Link to post
