darbo 4,779
the ones that stick in my mind were julian jackson vs herol graham.and tommy hearns vs roberto duran. hearns v duran i would still put my money on duran well he didnt do so good in 1984 when hearns knocked him out in 2 rounds. one of the best knockouts i have ever seen. i seen it to still think duran was a better fighter oh by the way they were the days they certainly were the days.loved duran one of my all time favourite fighters. hearns one of the hardest one punch fighters but a suspect chin. exciting to watch though atb. LAZYBSTARD 225
Have to agree the Cowdell v Nelson KO sticks out among the greats. Some of the earlier KO's in the great Zale v Graziano battles and the very talented Carlos Monzon also send shivers thinking about them. One of my favourite technical boxers was a frenchman names Marcel Cerdan, for a small man he could bang. Love also Marciano, devastating hands as did the young RJ Junior Need to look out some DVD's, you've got me in the mood id love to see the nelson ko i think if he had of hit pat again he would have killed him
gnasher16 31,442
Hearns/Duran is certainly up there with the best but for me the 2 greatest ko,s both involved Jersey Joe Walcott......number 1 would be his ko of Ezzard Charles ( to this day the best single punch ive ever seen ) and number 2 would be when he was ko,d by Marciano........ Being partial to a bodyshot id also put Tysons ko of Spinks up there, and also Roy Jones ko of Virgil Hill.

jasper65 6
ah f**k wee roberto was like a patterdale yeah I agree! he looked pretty out of sorts in the fight against Hearns. I remember seeing him in the first fight against Sugar Ray Leonard when Leonard try to mix it with him, he slowly took Leonard apart, mind you Leonard gave him a boxing lesson in the second fight........
