rossi_j 99 Posted August 9, 2011 Report Share Posted August 9, 2011 take the nicest bits of meat off for myself weather it be wood pigeon, rabbit or pheasant then carcases go to ferrets and dog. Chest freezer in the shed is good for the days when you bag up. I regular take to work pan fried pigeon breast / rabbit sarnies with red onion and mayo on thick wholemeal bread, yummy! Packet meat from the shop for sarnies is well over priced and crap in comparison in my opinion. Allways tastes better when worked for and free! .atb. .ste. Quote Link to post

Guest blitz Posted August 10, 2011 Report Share Posted August 10, 2011 use to eat it all when was young .dad was full time at it ,rabbits pheasants ,deer etc..tried everything.all good ..nowadays i feed lot of gear to dogs and sometimes fire a rabbit or 2 in slow cooker .but kids nowadays would be sick if you told them rabbit was for tea.
