j nowill & sons sheffield

i found this knife at work its very heavy made by the above , just wondered if any one of you lovely folk had heard of them . Trying for pictures but she has camera in her bag and she is out . Lovely handle, knife is about 8 inch in total and has est 1700 on the blade , just interested if anyone had heard of them thanks.......................

just keeps coming up file to big ........ anyone help?

nowills had the following marks jn john nowill 1827-1874 .. j.n 1883-1900 .. jn&s j nowill & son 1901- 1930. flatware (cutlery) salver and fruit knife makers .. either stainless or epns .. without photos guessing yours is a fruit knife.. you should be able to date it from the marks ..

nowills had the following marks jn john nowill 1827-1874 .. j.n 1883-1900 .. jn&s j nowill & son 1901- 1930. flatware (cutlery) salver and fruit knife makers .. either stainless or epns .. without photos guessing yours is a fruit knife.. you should be able to date it from the marks ..
