just thinking does anybody use plummer terriers for fox?

Recommended Posts

Gravel, you really are a plonker,I take it your just a young boy on the wind up,that pic is of my old dog "DANNY" who is being replaced by the bitch out of my present litter, the pups are only 4 and a half weeks old and I had my choice out of 9,I don't choose a pup by looks but by many things and I am quite happy with my choice,in the unlikely event of you ever taking your pretty boy out you will be very upset by the bites he recieves, and a swollen head will look lovely on him and it may even swell to your own gargantuan proportions.I doubt your dog is of the right breeding to do any serious work or you would of shouted it from the rooftops and if you are anything like the person you come across as on here then anyone of note will not give you much time, calm down and try to make friends of people instead of enemies you know little or nothing about,I look forward to seeing your post's asking for help later in the year when you realise that he's not all you thought, plummer's take careful entering sometimes and will easilly see past your obvious lack of experience, atb, wirralman

I appreciate your coments, and im not a young boy, ive had dogs all my life, but i dont take to kindly to sarcastic remarks when all ive done is put a pic on and wont tell people the breeding, why should i?

The father, of my dog is vampire, from south wales.

regards gravel.

vandals stuff were handy on fox

That dog is double bred to vandal in the pic and has never let me down in the field,he's 9yr old now and I have just bred his replacement but she's half new blood,a bit calmer in nature, better pack dogs I'm led to believe, but we shall see, atb, wirralman

i had a nice dog off bill in the early ninties, self entered at 7 month.it never looked back.

Redneck,no offence taken or intended to yourself,I just thought an explanation was required as this seems a popular misconception,my dogs are steady bayer's and will get a bolt most occasions, however if they turn rough then my dogs are more than capable of keeping them there till dug,my old dog has got a little too hard this year and has had to be dug to more this season than all the other's before put together causing him to be laid up more than I would of liked, apparently Vandal went the same way with age Bill told me ,thanks for your interest, wirralman

what are the earth types like underground are they mute or do they bay abit.

much like other terriers not bred toward work some lines bay others too hard or cold and best used otherwise with the caveat the get harder with age generally

Gravel - Vampire???? Time to call in your cards here Gravel somewhat either you have a smaller sized line of plummer (that I fancy myself tbh) that is presently unknown or folk that know this stuff would call for you to throw in you chips bud - if ou actually have a pedigree of worth PM me I am interested in something smaller line wise
