prepare rabbits for kits

hi all i got a few rabbits tonight lamping , i got kits and would like to feed some rabbit what should i do i been told to just chuck it in and by other people i been told to gut then and then feed it them

i always gut mine taking out the intestine and shit bag only,i try to leave the liver and other bits in there,then give it to them as it is,

I skin if fresh, if freezing i leave the skin on ( to prevent / kill fleas )

With guts out but i chop feet and tail off and rip the skin well back so they can get to the meat easier

i would just gut them then let the jill open it up more she will show the kit how to do it for when they get older

Just gut them and take out the main intestines but leave the liver/kidneys/heart and lungs in then put it in like that i normaly freeze my rabbits like this this time of year to kill any fleas mites etc

that they have on them then get out a frozen one the day before AS they say on blue peter LOL put it in a bucket with a bit of net curtain and a laky band over it to keep the flies off it untill i feed them at night

same goes for pigeons etc
