kevin from bristol 95 Posted July 20, 2011 Report Share Posted July 20, 2011 heard my jills kits screaming when and had a look she had nailed two out of the 5 kits so ive taken them off her and put them in with her sister whos gonna pop any minute and shes taken well to them as i new she would had them in together last year and she look after all 17 of them this year i thought id try the crazy again and see if the nailing young was a one off but turns out its not just glad i was keeping an eye on things wont be trying her again and it looks like kits will be fine Quote Link to post

nat 8 Posted July 22, 2011 Report Share Posted July 22, 2011 I had one that did this once for no apparant reason, it was her first (and last litter ) so I didn't touch them but had a peak just to see how many she had. A couple of days later I noticed the nest had gone quiet do went in and only had 5 left!( she previously had about 10) So I took them out and hand reared them... Complete pain in the arse feeding every 2hours fr the first week! Quote Link to post
