Just out of curiosity hunt, have you dug to terriers pre locator. The difference now in my mind is you can enter a terrier in very deep places where you will get a result, where as before the locator lad

DEAR ALI , WERE WAS HE FROM? I DON'T KNOW IF IT IS THE SAME PERSON I KNEW OF MANY YEARS AGO NOW. BUT I DON'T THINK HE WOULD BE 70 YEARS IN AGE. THE OLDER GUY'S ARE GREAT COMPANY AND I WAS LUCKY TO BE CENTRED AROUND THE OLDER GUYS WHEN I WAS A YOUNGSTER. BUT DON'T FORGET THEIR ARE SOME YOUNG LADS WHO HAVE THE DEDICATION, COMMITMENT AND THE KNOWLEDGE ALSO. HOWEVER, THE OLDER GENERATION SAW THINGS IN A DIFFERENT WAY AND DIDN'T EXPERIENCE THE DREADFUL LAWS WE HAVE TO ABIDE BY NOWADAYS. I WILL ATTEMPT TO POST SOME PHOTOS IN THE NEAR FUTURE REGARDING SOME OF THE OLD BOYS AND THEIR TERRIERS. I HAVE A VERY GOOD FRIEND AND A HE WAS A GOOD DOGMAN AND LIVES IN IRELAND; HE IS OLD NOW BUT HAD SOME GOOD TERRIERS AND BULL TERRIERS ALSO. SOME OF THE IRISH LADS WILL PERHAPS KNOW HIM OR HAS HEARD OF HIM. THE GUY WAS NAMED GERRY ALLAN FROM CORK. ALSO WITHOUT A DOUBT MY GREATEST AND TRUSTED FRIEND BEING THE ONE AND ONLY (BERT GRIPTON)......

I HAVE KNOWN KEN GOULD FOR YEARS AND FOR SURE THERE IS NEVER A DULL MOMENT WHEN HE IS IN COMPANY OF OTHER DOGMEN ESPECIALLY. HE CAN TELL A WONDERFUL TALE ABOUT HIS DOGS. SOME PEOPLE SAY IS A DOG DEALER, ARROGANT AND A SHOW OFF. PERHAPS HE IS IN THE NICEST POSSIBLE WAY. BUT HE HAS DONE SOME GREAT THINGS FOR THE SPORT......LOOK AT HIS TERRIER SHOW HE USE TO HAVE AT HIS HOUSE, A PROPER SHOW FOR REAL DIGGING MEN. AND IT WAS THE BEST SHOW AROUND, THAT IS FOR SURE! I AM TRULY GREATFUL FOR THE TIME WE SHARED TOGETHER. LET'S HEAR MORE ABOUT THE OLD BOYS IF POSSIBLE.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE.

DOCTOR DOLITTLE.

Remember though a lot of these old men used multiple terriers back in the day ok they dug stuff when it was legal but to be honest were there dogs any better and should they be held in such high regard as great terriermen of old when dogs were dogs I think the dogs of today are a better standard to quote dr old rip and black jack were top class but the black dog is a better tool now we have these new collars I have respect for Anyone of senior age to myself as a person but I think to a lot it is Rose tinted glassed regarding terrierwork of old a lot of it is exactly where it belongs in the past
