spookster1 24 Posted June 19, 2011 Report Share Posted June 19, 2011 Yes I used it for demodectic mange. I took on a rescue saluki x that was in a mess 8mths ago. Had to take him to a skin specialist in the end. He said you have to use it weekly and not to stop using it until you get two negative scrapings. What type of mange is it? Sarcoptic mange is easier to treat. Quote Link to post

The aludex works well but if you don't get it all(even if the dog looks well) it may come back but I don't know a lot about sarcoptic. I stopped treating my dog when he looked totally fine and went onto advantix spot on, but it came back so he is now on daily invermctin. Good luck with your dog! Quote Link to post
