my dogs look fitter in summer than they do in winter, but are not in any way as sharp,or as fit! I put a bit more weight on my dogs towards the start of the season, and only after a month or so hard fie

match men never divulge there training methods

i dont think there is a specific match fit thing i seen cn match foxy 2 times a week for a few month so she was never specifically fittened for one match ...

Hare was shot and retrieved.

So do mine, I think it's a coat thing as well. My dogs don't usually take as long as a month to get fit though, although I do a fair bit of bushing/mooching in the summer.

Nice dogs people.

was it a crufts dog lol or a top coursing dog roberto cause i've seen some cracking looking fit dogs who were not worth a carrot but would fetch top dollar at auction based on looks

as i'm sure every coursing man has been out with people who's dogs don't look much but once slipped total machines

as the saying goes looks can be decieving

nobody can judge how a dog works from a pic and theres a big difference in lamping to daytime running. a lot of daytime dogs smash good numbers of rabbits and other things on the lamp but how many lamping dogs can do the same daytime? :hmm:

good point  but which dog would be the fitest,a top class match dog for day or a top class one for lamping???

Id say there alot of diffrence between recovery rate and plain stamiana to have a run for say 3/4 min, But both would have to be fit to have a decnt shift either way

in my view the dog looks to muscle bound to be lamping fit,bit like you never see a muscle bound plasterer or hod carrier

Your view and your entitled to it, but your last comment sounded well a bit Gay  what have you been doing checking out de builders?
