nelson 0
Wilf, the La Bo**cks wellies i have are the cheaper ones, i dont think i will ever pay for the sort you wear, just my choice and not criticising you. The Aigle's i have had, have been by far harder wearing, more comfortable, the rubber seems stronger and they haven't made my feet sweat as much as the crap i have at the moment. These are real soft rubber, floppy to put your feet in,have worn quite badly in the couple of month's i've had them, ripped by barbed wire ( upper, not sole) and basically, i dont like putting the ferkers on. Bloke told me to get Aigles a good 8 years back and i have stuck with them, only in a moment of weakness did i buy these La Bo**cks crap and would never recomend them to anyone. Just my opinion mind and i'm sure La Bo**cks wellies arent all as crap as i say, or no one would wear them.

Guest MOLLY
Aigle, as Lurcherbitch & Millet have said, best pressie ever. Used to wear Hunters and my feet ended up like blocks of ice, and they were very slippy in the mud. The only downside is they do make your feet sweat when your very busy as Millet said, and getting your wellies off can be a problem. For some reason Brasher socks prevents this, they slide on and off no problem. MOLL.

Hob&Jill 258
Anyone use DerriBoots? What you think of them? I have a pair, I havent had them long (7 months), but I can honestly say, if they last, I wont be buying another brand of wellies again. Very Comfortable, completly waterproof, good grips. Imagine a first cross WellingtonxWalking Boot thats what there like. I cant stand wellies, the rim always rubbs on my leg (if I dont have my trousers tucked in lol) BootsxWellington
SINDASOX 256
A few years back i bought a pair of Hunter wellingtons at the Midland Game Fair and was really pleased with them, after about 18 months (i think) the heel part of the sole inside the welly just all disintegrated and caved in, so i decided my next pair would be Aigle, i had them about 15 months and they all split where the welly meets the sole I put in a complaint where i purchased the boots, they contacted Aigle, and a replacement pair were issued, after about 14-15 months these feckers went the same as the last pair I then asked the company who i purchased the boots from could they email me a contact address for Aigle so i could make a complaint direct to them about them splitting all the time, because there was nothing else wrong with the boot, and there was plenty of wear left in the soles, a few weeks passed and then to my suprise, Aigle had given the go ahead to send me another replacement pair, i cannot fault Aigle on that front because they have been great. Anyhow, after the trouble with the wellies, i thought i would invest in a really good pair of boots instead, i have been fancying these boots from Altberg Bootmakers in Yorkshire for ages, so after saving up my pennies, i invested in a pair of these Gamekeeper boots, I've heard a lot of people reccomend them, so i took the plunge and paid the £180 asking price, what i like about them as well is if you ever need replacement linings, soles, D rings etc, etc, you can get it all done at their factory, they are a very small fitting, so i would reccomend you go a size or a size and a half larger than your normal size boot. Altberg Boots I havent tried Le Chameu yet, but looking at them in a catalouge the other week they are now making them with a vibram sole. Cheers SINDASOX
jasper65 6
They're a bit special sindasox! I want some of them now, I was looking a decent pair of walking boots too and favoured the Hunters but not now! them boots on that altberg site you put up are the Bollocks. I'll give the Argyle's a go and if they Knacker up after a few months I'll try what you did mate and see if I can get another pair .....
