welldone paddy mate ,first rabbit allways the 1 you,ll remember for a long time ,keep it up regardless of it been summer your season just started now get him running anychance you can ,then by the time the fields are cut you will be able train him on the lamp if you want ,training the pup will come alot easier now you have a hunting dog ,welldone 2 you and your dog ,if anyone deserve it you do mate :toast:

haha i was shocked, me and beth where just sitting there and he dived onit pinned it and shook it and dropped at my feet am made up :D thanks alot gaz, hopefully just keeps going my way!

just keep at it ,keep going 2 the places weres whicked with them and he,ll soon master it :thumbs:

Now he's had one he wil be switched on looking for them, once the penny drops they get mad keen. Don't push him too much, with all the cover up it can be a bit frustrating for a dog, but i'm sure you will drop on a few more of this seasons green rabbits before the summer is out :thumbs: The small ones are an ideal size for puppy training retrieves :thumbs:

yeah hopefully, just get him out mooching etc, and see what happens! fingers crossed
