I bought a leather hand stitching kit from Tandy Leather a while back to try my hand at knocking up a few things, thought i'd share a couple of pictures for you. The first one's for my pup, the second, red one with the lead was for a lady i met whilst out walking the dog. Hope you like them,

Hamish, looks like you done a decent job. Seen a whole lot worse for sure.

Wee cheap tip is to wet the edge of leather & run a plastic biro pen along it,going with the grain. Just run it over twice at most, with a wee bit pressure.

Good luck !!

thanks for the comments, here's the kit i bought with all the bits in you need. The booklet's handy, tells you how to do various types of stitches and shows you how to make the jaws for holding the leather together whilst you stitch
