i have a first cross bedlington whippet he's 18inch and even tho he does the job on the rough ground he seems to struggle on flat strait runs (cant win them all tho).. i believe the average hight is 17inch to 19inch but if i was to get the same cross again i would try and get my hands on the one that would make 19inch mark or the biggest i could get... all in all tho i (wouldent) say there bad little dogs and there a joy to watch running bunnys thay also have a great temperment.. ;)

Lindsay,if i were looking for a decent rabbit dog "day and night"with better staminia and better feet i wouldnt overlook a bed x grey as these crosses are 1st class on rabbits, they come in about 22-23inch and if bred right you,ll get yourselve a wee belter of a bunny basher ;)

Have you considered a pure whippet. I thought about getting one in the past as they are excellent rabbiting dogs day and night.

They are more expensive though.

I really like the look of the beddy / whippet cross and am sure they are good little rabbiting dogs from what I have herd.
