Answer to the question is there is no "best cross". If I lived in the UK and didnt know sqaut about S.H.s I would propose somthing like this " I'm interested in lamping rabbits 3-5 nights a week, what would be a good SH/Lurcher for this?"

He's doing great , he's doing what I hoped he's a great dog for those long runs hes also retrieving shot game plus I've stuck to what I know and got his older half bro aswell now and got a 3/4 saluki 1/4 grey pup aswell , all good

My new pups da was collie greyhound and ma was saluki greyhound quick smart dog gd for hairs n rabbit n hopefully the odd fox
