BIGASH 2 Posted May 15, 2011 Report Share Posted May 15, 2011 Hi all my jill had her kits 3 days ago its her first litter and she had 6 healthy and chunky kits anyway its my first time breeding ferrets and i just want a bit of advice firstly when i clean her out shall i seperate her as its one pen i no to leave the kits alone and the nest area but i have been told not to bother her as she will eat them is that true also how long till i can handel the kits thanks. marty42 18 Posted May 16, 2011 Report Share Posted May 16, 2011 when im made my ferret boxes i put wire down the end of the hutch and a drawer under it.the ferrets will allways shit on the wire and the shit will fall in the drawer.so when your cleaning out all you have to do is pull out the drawer and clean it under the back tap.that way the hutch is allways clean and you dont have to disturb the ferrets when there in young Quote Link to post
