Just because I live in Scotland doesn't mean I can't comment or observe. You support shit every week, doesn't stop you from talking about man u etc. Whatever English football has wrong with it,doesnt compare to what Scottish football has wrong with it and i rarely see you discussing the problems with Scottish football. And yes i might support shit every week but you wont hear me telling Man Utd supporters whats wrong with their team ! Stop worrying about other people and how they live their lives and enjoy you own. Last Night on TV I watched with disgust Lord/Sir Alan Sugar investigate the reasons why footballers wages in recent years have spiralled out of all control. I watched the players , agents, managers and chief executives of the FA blaming each other for these excesses. The bottom line was that since Sky Sports took over TV coverage of the football premiership, Sky have been giving more money to each club than the entire league used to receive in previous years. Some might say its a good thing giving these clubs a lot more money to buy better players and stadiums, but in reality you the public are giving them the money via your Sky Sports subscriptions. This is a simple step by step process to show how you pay the players wages. The public give Sky the money Via monthly subscriptions. Sky give the money to the FA. The FA give the money to the clubs. The clubs give the money to the players. The players, managers, agents and chief executives don't want things to change, they are milking the public every month with the Sky Sports packages and they will continue to do so. They don't want things to change !!! You the public are the only ones to stop this madness. If every household that subscribes to Sky Sports cancelled their subscriptions for 3 months we could end this problem very quickly. Please cancel your Sky Sports Subscriptions for 3 months and STOP these ridiculous excesses !!! Please can you pass this on to everyone in your Facebook and Twitter account. What our top football players earn is pocket change to baseball and NFL stars.....more power to their elbow I say. Football has got like F1 racing when you knew schumacher was going to win Fu**ing boring some of the Sunday or non league games are better than the over payed wimpy cry baby puffs in the premier league, and Sunday league lads play for the love of the game. One more point,all the money they are on and still can't win the world cup, that's the difference between the team of 1966 who loved the game and had pride in their country, and the shit we have now who play for who ever pays the most. :wankerzo4: :wankerzo4: all of them. The top Spanish league being better than the top English league,well thats certainly a worthwhile debate im not sure id say either way for 100 %....what i will say is you talk about the top 6.....well beyond the Spanish top 6 you have teams like Levante,Racing Santander,Osasuna etc etc that make up the mid to lower table,for me they are not as good as the mid to lower clubs in the English premier league,sides such as Newcastle,Villa,Wolves.....The gap between Barcelona/Real Madrid and the rest is opening up in a similar way to Celtic/Rangers in the Scottish league,i think theres around 18 points between Real Madrid in second and Valencia in third.......so although the top 2 Spanish sides are probably stronger than our top 2 im not so sure about the league as a whole. As regards the Champions league i totally agree it was a much better competition when it was the European Cup,when you think Clough took little Notts Forest to 2 finals......that could never happen now simply because its no longer a cup competition,and as you rightly say,the " champions league " should be a competition for champions only or it devalues the competition. The SPL is pure f*****g kick and rush shite....put even the top 2 teams against a mediocre european side and they quickly run out of ideas and stop playing football.
