Malt 379
I'd look at getting CCTV if you're that concerned, or dummy ones at the least. Failing that a 12g shotgun.. PS. A yappy little JRT could be just as effective, one that makes a f**k of a noise at the littlest disturbance. Cheaper to feed than a 7 stone growler too.. Quote Link to post

blan89 159
if you get a well bred guard dog get it trained properly and nothing short of someone shooting it/beating it to death will stop it. Quote Link to post

scalesntails 118
Doesn't matter what you do. If the scumbags are intent enough they will steal your dogs no matter what. The best thing you can do without keeping them inside is to make out to everyone that your dogs are shit and a complete waste of space and food. Quote Link to post
davewil 2
Guard dog the best, we had problems in the past now got Rottie x German Shepard, weighing in at 10 stone got her guard dog trained, they maybe get in my garden but won't get out again lol, we have 6 foot fence all round the garden then a secondary 4 foot fence , kennels inside 4 foot section Rottie runs free, secondary fence keeps things on [bANNED TEXT] side of the law, we haven't had problem for 3 years now Edited May 8, 2011 by davewil 1 Quote Link to post
