scothunter 12,609
ok i was looking for a cheaper provider so i ordered talk talk.however im not due to get connected till next frid and have only spoke to the guy on the phone.after i did it i was speaking to a cpl mates and they said it was shite and to not get it.they were also charging me 100quid to get connected even though i have a bt and virgin phone point in my home.anyway i got a cracking deal with bt and i have accepted it.is it gonna be easy calling talk talk and telling them i want to cancel.they havent sent me a router or that but they do have my bank details.has anyone had any expierence with this sort of thing.or would i be better just telling them a load of bullshit and saying i have to cancel as i have split up with the wife or something.im just a bit dubious cause these providers are c**ts when you try to cancel. FightTheBan 1,147
Aye good advice not getting talk talk. They are useless c**ts at best and if you ever have problems and need to 'talk tallk' to someone its always mohamed from bangladesh or some other obscure country. Just tell them you are no longer going to stay there as you are being evicted (probably not far away from the truth lol). Give them that and see how it goes. They will no doubt try and get some sort of cancellation fee from you but just ignore them. FTB
baw 4,360
You have a cooling down period by law where your allowed to change your mind. Don't know how long it is, maybe 48 hours maybe a week, look it up but it's to your interest to phone them as soon as. Just tell them you've changed your mind and by are offering better. They are used to it.

baw 4,360
Probably mate. Reason I know is one of the talk talk representatives came to the door once, let him in, listened to his push, said no thanks. He said if I sign up for it I have a cooling down period where I just cancel it no probs and he still earned his doe. Being the kind of guy I am not wanting to see a guy lose out I did it and he was true to his word. That was a few years ago so can't see it changing. Just tell the c**ts the truth, you owe them fuckall, no need for excuses.
