mattyg 1,862
took alf for a short local this eve and was glad i did! i spotted a bunny way out in the middle of a field, obviously had mixy as no bunny in good health would be tha far out this early. once i had got him sighted he was off....even for a mixy it still gave a bit of a run around and made alf look pretty daft but he eventually scooped up the bunny and trotted straight back dropping it at my feet. nothing testing or special for most dogs but well chuffed with him for a 10month old pup......it can only do wonders fo his confidence and well proud of him. showing lots of potential......roll on october! mattyg 1,862
luckily for me i have access to an outstanding bushing terrier so he has seen and been involved in 1 or 2 catches in the day when out just walking and general mooching with my other lurchers...nothing too serious but all signs point to a good future! i also own his sire who is pretty handy when he wants to be!
