Romany 1,065
Is that a fixed 300mm mate? Yeah matie..I was using a -400mm excellent quality, but just a little slow..I also have a 70-300mm but rarely use it..This 300mm is one of the sharpest lenses Ive used, with or with out the tc

I use a sigma lense 70-200mm f2.8 with a 1.4x converter. Was thinking of getting a fixed lens about a 300mm. Do you need to use a tripod with it mate?

Cheers matie, I had found out since my original post, thanks...they dont touch them when they firs come over, when rowan is plentiful..the group here were feeding on these in the morning and in the afternoon, then in the evening they switched to the live stuff..amazing on Good Friday taking pictures of waxwings and watching swallows at the same time..
