jackwhippet 3
As you all know (well most of us it seems) its mating time I'm breeding mine this year to add to my team, yesterday put jill in with my hob and left them to it just checking the periodically after the deed was done took the jill out and inspected her back of her neck was a right mess so phoned my sister-in-law in my local vets to pick me up some antiseptic powder, she asked one of the vets is there any thing around the house I could use the vet recommended sudocrem so I ask this question to you all: anyone used it or will anyone use it Regards JW Quote Link to post

comanche 3,298
Sudocream is great for it. I had an elderly jill put through the mill by another jill that obviously had been dealt a few too many spring hormones . Poor old girl had been chewed about until her neck was actually missing chunks . Trimmed what was left of the fur back to keep the area clean and stop the hair being caught up as the wound scabbed over. Washed the area in warm salt water and applied a thick layer of Sudocream .I did'nt even have to repeat the process . Tis like magic !. Edited April 2, 2011 by comanche Quote Link to post
