Cheers mate. I did have a look at them but weree only 8 mega pixs.. The camera/phone i ended up with has 12 mega pixs and the carl zeiss af lense. I alway make sure my phones have this lense. The camera/phone i have is more of a camera than a phone, if you know what i mean. When advertised on tv, it is advertised for its camera..

Have you gave buying a proper digital SLR a thought mate?

I know they're not cheap but you seem to really enjoy taking photo's and you live a pretty special part of the country with plenty to snap at :good: .

Cheers mate but i have lots of cameras. All the other pics are on descent cameras(posts of dogs and stuff and missus) i hope you dont think the other pics are only phone standard, lol...

Heres my best zoom camera, fixed lense, 18xoptical zoom. A camera like this is needed for the pics i take of birds for full detail and close up shots. It wouldnt be possible to get them on a mobile.. Also the courses i have managed to shot are usually taken on this one. Altho once i did get a cracker on a mobile..

It's a misconception that the more megapixels the better the camera. They use the pixels to attract customers. Its down to the camera how good it is. A fixed lens 7 million pixel camera is nowhere near as good as a 7 million pixel SLR. Its all down to the size of the sensor. imagine how much smaller a mobile phones sensor is compared to an SLR All those pixels have to be squashed onto the sensor. Unless your going to blow your pictures up the size of the gable end of a building, anything over 7 million is over kill. A 7 million will still blow a photo up into a 4ft x 4ft canvas without a hint of pixel distortion. if your only going to put pictures on the internet, you don't even need a camera with 1 mill pixels.
