jills neck is bloody

hi guys ive had the jill and hob in together since they was young and not split then im fully aware the jills are coming in to season and the hobs bit when doneing there on the job lol is it season aready? will my jill be served and do i split them up in case he keeps trying it, and kills her . help please its only the back of her neck that has bit holes and blood on

Sounds like the hobs in season now.. even if the jills not swollen up he will still try to mate with her

 

best thing to do is remove one of them to another cage as the hob will just keep at her regardless of whether she is in season fully or at all herself

 

best thing to do with her neck is just bathe it in a mild saline solution :thumbs:

2 off my jills have been in season and brought out all ready only another 2 left and the other 1 has been speyed. if you dont split them up he will just keep at it.no photos and i aint going out to take any of my ferrets bits the neighbours might phone the plod. :thumbs:

well i beleave that every animal has the right to breed at least once ,i dont beleave that as soon as you get a anamil you have to get stuff cut from them. my dog had had a little then spaded and my ferrets will do the same . i may keep one or 2 of the young but the rest all be given away free of charge , not in it for the money just the keeping

you can check pictures on search engines they will show you what you need to see. its pretty obvious though when theyre ready to be put with a hob and i keep my jills seperate to my hob and my hobs seperate to other hobs. as people have said they will just keep trying your jill and its not good
