x-firefly-x 0
Hello, I don't actually hunt myself but joined up because I was hoping to find someone near me that likes ferreting and who I could buy game from for my 6 ferrets. I am mainly looking for rabbit. If it could have the head taken off and skinned and cut into small chunks (to fit in freezer) that would be fantastic. Becky Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,217
They hide them underground. But i'm sure someone will help you (although you may have to do the chopping up!) Quote Link to post

Paid 935
I'm just up the road, with a freezer full. They are whole, with the guts out, and 6 will polish one off in 24 hours. You can chop them up your self if you like Quote Link to post
Paid 935
P.s are you that lady that lives in a flat, who I have supplied before ? Quote Link to post
x-firefly-x 0
Hi Paid, where abouts are you? No, I'm not. I live in woking and share with my parents and younger brother hence the reason why i was asking for them to be skinned and chopped into chunks. I also only have a mini freezer (rents won't let me put ferret meat in our two freezers) and they also wouldn't take kindly to me using the kitchen to hack it up! (They hate me having chicks in my freezer) Let me know if you can help me or not Thanks Edited May 27, 2011 by jasper65 edited for firefly Quote Link to post

I take it you are just supplementing their food so wont need a load? I have a medium albion hob who works well Jamie, but none for sale mate, or are you thinking stud? Quote Link to post

x-firefly-x 0
I'm trying to switch to a more raw diet for them. I've been feeding those frozen blocks by prize choice but its very watery and they don't seem to like them. They happily munch on wings, liver, kidney, chicks, legs and mince but haven't been able to try them on real raw rabbit if that makes sense. I would ideally like to feed it to them about once a week but for now I just want to see if they take to it. P.s Messaged you Quote Link to post
Paid 935
He is a fine worker, the best from my 6, I got him as an adult, from some one who couldn't handle him, and was a spitting biting menace. I've had him 3 years, and he is good as gold for me. Has been from day 2, day one he was just all hiss and bite. Works every weekend of the season. Quote Link to post
