Matt-Mate 0
I know I could have probably posted this in the general forum but I've found the air gunners very helpful and friendly. Anyway, I was wondering for any hunters that have dogs: Do you feed your dogs on a diet of raw meat from your kills? and also what parts of your kill for example will you give to your dogs? Liver etc.. I have two dogs (neither gundogs) and I'd love to make use of the kill properly by not wasting any of it and giving what I could to my dogs. Random question I know but just wondered if anybody had any ideas/opinions Thanks

scalesntails 118
You can just give the dogs the entire animal raw bones and all. I like to gut them personally as it reduces the chances of worms but I do give them the kidneys and liver. You can get a nice big sharp cleaver and hack up the first couple you feed if your dogs aren't sure what to do with a whole rabbit etc.
