I had a few goat steaks tonight and they tasted very nice but a little chewy.I left them hang in the chill fridge for a few days before I processed them.just wondering if any one might have a few suggestions as to make em more tender.Any other recepies bar CURRY,I ferkin hate curry  There was nothing wrong with it just thought there may be other ways of dealing with goat meat.

roasted goat, cover in butter, garlic and cracked black pepper wrap in tin foil and bake in oven for as long as you can on 180 perferably until meat is falling off bone, usually 6 hours, this is bloody tasty!!!

stew, dice your meat, add onions, root veg etc and cook as long as poss serve with mash, cabbage and gravy yummy!!

OR my daughters favourite; billy pie, make your own pastry or buy ready made, dice meat and fry until brown add stock, onions and mushrooms heat until cooked, then add to pastry and bake mmmmm

hope these help!! :tongue2:
