Recommended Posts

hey, im new to all this so it would be great if you more experienced people could give me some advice. i have a Labrador which i take on 12 boar shoots, but iam interested in getting a lurcher, as iam a keen ratter and also enjoy rabbiting i will be hoping to work the dog at least once a week but it must have good with other dogs and able to rat and rabbit. what would be the best lurcher X to buy and how much should i be willing to pay? iam will be hoping to buy the lurcher at the end of summer sort of august/september time is this the best time too do this? any help would be much appreciated :)

i would get a bedlington x whippet if i possibly could, i would be expecting to pay around £150 maybe £200 for a genuine bred first cross, or second generation, worker to worker bred, and if possible i would buy it late spring, so you have all of the long summer days to play about with it, and socialise it, train it etc,
