fozzy41 9
I have a pal that bought some from this site, he paid 30k for 15 acre and yes he does have restrictions on it like building and timber felling, also with putting new tracks in but he has all the sporting rights on there. He put a touring caravan in the forest and spends his time there with the family, very peaceful it is too. Look at the description in the advert about the sporting rights, they are normally sold with the land. I have looked at it myself but found nothing that suits me yet. Good luck fozzy

If you read the small print "do any rough or game shooting or pest control at times or in a manner constituting a nuisance or danger to any neighbour" you can hunt and shoot providing you don't upset the neighbours Do your homework if you get a small parcel of land you could be surrounded by other people and if they are tree or bunny huggers then you could be stuck with land that you can't do anything with! lapin2008 1,587
just wondering whats the going rate for an acre. im thinking of buying a small plot of land but i was unsure at what sort of money id need. im in the ruabon / wrexham are if that makes alot of difference. Depends on the potential use of the land and where abouts it is in the country. Arable land around here is about 5 - 8K an acre depending on lots of factor ie, how good soil, size of plot, location/access. If you are looking at a couple of acres the chances are that the seller will ramp up the price as they will know that it is likely to attract people wanting to put horses on it, so most likely looking closer to 10k per acre. For woodland it also varies dependent on lots of things but is often cheaper. probably between 2-5K (5k for a small bit of a couple of acres) There is a 40 acre wood near to me going at 2k per acre. hope this helps atb
