Sounds to me like theyve put notcies through the door asking for improvments?

They shouldnt of taken them as they dont have rights to do that, you sure your girlfriend didnt sign them over?

But to be fair, my ferrets have dry food in their cage 24/7 and water & they are cleaned out daily.

i give mine a full clean out 1s a week a cleen shit trays out evry day

Sounds like they have stole them entering your property without permission and lifting them ,unless you have older outstanding issues with them?. Phone the police ask for there advice then phone the R.S.P.C.A. and tell them you want your ferrets back and the inspectors name and number that lifted them.

Sounds like what they were doing is completely out of order :censored: , if they didnt have a warrent then they shouldnt have been on your property and defiantly shouldnt have taken the ferrets on their first check, maybe they've checked up before without your consent if thats the case then tell them to stay the F*ck of your land and get in touch with the police to force them give to Give the ferrets back as they took them illegally :censored: .... or they have just conviscated them until they see an improvement, allthough it seems very rare for the to do a random spot check they may have had 'tip off' by an effing neighbour, have they ever got in touch with you in the past? if not then it seems atrange and must be breaking some law to enter a property and take and animal even if they are the effing rspa sounds like wardens getting to big for their boot thinking they know every thing and jumping to assumptions if you take it further and you might find they don't have a leg to stand on. But like said earlier of you have a record with them/past check ups then maybe its a different story and they've made an accurate judgement , but the vibes im getting from your post if that they're out of order anyway mate

hope you get you ferrets back ..

well as far as I am aware there no law stating ferrets have to have access to food 24/7 .. water I would imagine they need to be able to access all the time as there caged

so theres either more to this story than meets the eye or the RSPCA have just taken the ferrets

Either way you need to contact them & find out whats going on

why would they come and take youre ferrets out of blue? it does,nt make sense? somebodys obiviously made a report about the ferrets welfare! and they just carnt come and take them away without giving you the chance to improve on this????? have the RSPCA been informed before about any concerns of animals you have kept? they have rules and regulations to abide by before takin any actions such as this! they just dont come in youre house and see the dog bowls empty, and presume you aint feeding them, and they take youre dogs away!!! COME ON!
