New Bit,Auld bit

Recommended Posts

Cleared cover away when the snaw was still lying a couple of weeks back, myself and Rake Aboot took a wee trip there today.

Netted up the 1st warren which was 20+ holes with lots of hidden bolt holes, thought we had got them all untill two rabbits bolted and away,Roxy the pup is alot more "eye on the baw" now and gave chase but just missed them by inches.Tried another couple of warrens without nets as brambles, etc was a bit too thick, nothing doing so decided to try a warren we had success a couple of months back.

Netted the holes, entered the ferrets and one bolted within a couple of mins and another 10 mins later,in the bag then hame for a cuppa, just a wee trip oot but in the sunshine and the pups really beginning to click :gunsmilie:

I gave rake aboot a recipe for rabbit in chocolate sauce I got from a chef,I,ll let him try it 1st,its making my mouth water just thinking aboot it :thumbs:

I had hare casserole last week and chocolate sauce came into ma heid  don,t know why but I mentioned it to a friend who does a bit cheffing and he just looked at me like I was off ma heid

However he mentioned it to the head chef just in conversation, and with typical headchef attitude he went OFF on one  "can,t believe you don,t fxcken know the fxcken rabbit in chocolate fxcken sauce dish"and then he made the sauce in front of the mate and he gave me the recipe the next day. :toast:
