Ford Focus cl td di 1800 estate

Recommended Posts

Does anyone on here run a focus diesel estate 1800 td td cl , thinking of getting one as meant to be reliable, good on juice and not bad on insurance, and a reliable workhorse. Just interested to hear what others may think of them, good or bad, if you dont mind. Thanks in advance.

Got a 59 plate focus 18tdci,and can only say what a total load of shite.

Does 34mpg(maybe it's just the newer ones?) been into the dealer twice and all they say is thats what they do...had a mondeo 2litre tdci before brilliant car 40 mpg loads of space fast as fook

try looking at a vauxhall astra diesel just as good as a focus(my opinion)

I use the 1.6 tdci estate,2006 brilliant, car cheap to run 50mpg cheap to insure, just keep ontop with the fuel filters and oil changes on a regular basis and they will run forever.

mines now done 132k and not missed a beat.

had a Focus 1600 petrol earlier this year,it was a good reiable car until i had some work done on it before

the mot was due, spent £370 on it went on holiday and during the return from Ulverston on motorway the oil pump went on me with no warning.I scrapped it on the spot, not trying to put you off or anything just relating my experience

and it wasn't diesel so a diesel motor could be better.I now have a diesel transit being converted to a camper, hopefully i get more use out of this as it's our holidays motor,
