Ideation 8,217
So this is a bit of a rant and i'm bound to get some flak but who cares! It seems these days that almost on a daily basis i cross paths with a person/people who posses either a child/children or a dog/dogs that they shouldnt have, or both. When i say 'shouldnt have' i mean that they have no idea or ability to bring it up properly and dont have any control of it. Lets just focus on the dogs (although its all applicable to the children to), twice in the last week or so we have had sheep attacks, first time 5 dead and the rest of the flock pushed into a freezing stream, it happened at night and no one knew whos dog/s did it, then the second time i was looking out of my window and a sheep went tearing past followed by a dog which proceeded to pull it down and lay into it. . . . . . the dog was trailing a lead and followed by three women who were screaming/shouting (no effect!) and generally panicking. I raced out, kicked dog off and gave the women a mouth full, to be told it wasn't their fault, wasn't the dogs fault etc etc etc, it just pulled the lead out of their hand, went through a hedge, over a fence and started trying to kill sheep. Oh and they had another 5 dogs with them! Turns out they went to a rescue and just rescued 8 or so dogs which are all big beasts Alsatian size and have 0 training! These dogs will all end up shot i'm sure and would be better left in a rescue. Now today i was ferreting some local woods when a f*****g terrier x and a collie came steaming a long and piled into my pup, luckily he isnt a push over and i was stood there so gave them a few whacks with my stick and lifted pup, when the owner came a long he said 'they just want to play' - o right thats why she was hanging off his kneck? Final one - new neighbours move in with 3 dogs - also not stock broken, proceed to chase sheep about paddock! Again - she says they 'just want to play'. Bring on dog licences i say and mandatory training and testing! Yes it would be a pain for us but would stop these dozy fuckers who think - i'm moving to the country - lets just 'get' some dogs, no need to train them, why bother? TWATS! Rant over. Ideation 8,217
im always getting botherd by dogs when im ferreting its a piss take . . . . . It's just this idea that folk have like ' oh lets get a dog' just cos they live in the country or like to go for walks etc and have no interest in training the f*****g beast, even to the most basic level. See it all the time here. People walking dogs that are not suited, and also dogs not wearing the appropriate collars/leads. I totally ignore them when my dogs go over for a sniff, and walk past them and whistle my dogs to follow. Usually leaving a red faced townie to untangle themselves. I do not and will not have anything to do with uneducated townies that move to the country not willing to except the way of life here. NEVER!

Ideation 8,217
Just to add another things that grinds my gears - like artic said - unsuitable dogs - the wee women who has the sheep killers for some reason decided that alsation, bull mastiff and rottie x's where a good selection of dogs to get for a woman who couldnt hold into a butterfly and has about as much commanding presence as a prawn.
