Leaking AA S410

Recommended Posts

An update to let people what happened with my air rifle in the end.

Buster321c kindly offered to do the work on it for about half the price i had been quoted locally by a dealer. Having checked him out a bit i packaged the rifle off and sat back. Craig kept me in touch via email at every stage...he had quickly replaced all the seals for me and checked the leak but it was still there. He then got a new adapter for me and fitted this. After a few days to make sure the leak had been stopped he returned it by speacial delivery [all included in the price quoted].

Absolute top notch job...cleaned and looking great. I checked it and had just bought a cheap and cheerful JSR 3-9x40 scope, so mounted it and took it out today to test. Everything went very well...off a small bipod pellets were all touching at 30m. will look to see how the mildot system works on this scope next outing.

All in all a painless, reassuring job. Considering the worry about sending off to someone you dont actually know [and i think Buster will tell you he got asked to explain himself etc] i cannot fault the service or level of workmanship. I will use him again with confidence....

The weather was the worst part of this causing us to delay posting so as not to have it hanging around needlessly in the post system.

many thanks Craig!
