nighteye 170 lamp

Im after a new lamp and battery set up, i have seen the Nighteye 170 adverticed simalar to the striker but about £20 cheaper.

Has anyone used one?

i had 1 and it was shite the switch broke the second time i had it out far better spending the extra couple of pound and getting yourself a light force

I have used the lightforce before and the wiring was wank, could go down the road of the lazerlite again

After spending £50-£60 on a lamp thats the last thing i should have to do

each to there own fella its just a matter of petting some stronger spades in the handle not rocket science or expensive, you get your cyclops and enjoy

love it when somebody starts this one of cos people start saying lightforce are the best but the people in the know no that the night eye is the old mod of the striker the only thing thats diff is the switch is on the back not the finger button on the front also the night eye has the better wireing out of the two and is 20 quid cheeper atb

well i threw my lightforce after only 4months work. lense started cracking due to the heat...£90 for a peace of shite in my opinion!

theres some cheap coppies of lightforce striker etc etc on ebay.

i have the 170 and the 240 blitz... at the end of the day its hard to beat the blaserlite!!! love the hinged filter and the wee secondary bulb for opening gates etc is priceless imo!!! and most important of all it never breaks!!! quality of beam is good but just not as good as the 170

i have the older lazalight, the double bulbed one.never let me down until now.

i ran it off an old 14 amp hr battery but the terminals have snapped off, so its new battery time as well

there a few lads using these lithium batts as well...bit too expensive off deben though. seen a few kits on ebay that look like they would do the job with a bit of extra casing etc etc.

 

anyone tried them yet ?

bloody hell, 45 quid for a battery

looks like i should buy the lazalite and battery set up and strip my old one for parts if needed.

£110 gets me full set up , charger, bag etc.

i got a lightforce stricker veriable with a 10 ah lithium battery, i also got a veriable blitz with a 22 ah lithium battery, and i got to say i fuking love them the blitz setup and lithium bat was £375 and the stricker and bat was £260 and worth every penny.
