3 Turns 326
FAMILYS THE BE ALL AND END ALL GET RID TO MUCH HASELL YOU CAN ALWAYS GO TO B/N/Q AND BY ANOTHER HAMMER .MONEY AND FAMILY FIRST DOGS ARE JUST TOOLS OF THE TRADE.YOU N2VER NOW WHEN YOULL CHANGE YOUR TRADE . Maybe to you but not to everyone. Tools can be replaced no problem, they are all the same, but the years of work and training you put into a dog are priceless. I suppose it depends what you want your dogs for, if your standards are low, or you only use a dog as a point and slip so dont need them trained then maybe they can be replaced but thats not dogwork to me. YOUR FAMILY MUST BE A HAPPY BUNCH IF YOU THINK THEY PLAY SECOND FIDDLE TO A DOG.YOU CANT THINK MUCH OF YOUR FAMILY.ESPECIALLY A WEE PUP . Quote Link to post

Guest stewie
Despite constantly looking, I've been without a "proper" job since the start of the year and got my lurcher pup to give me something to do and a reason to get out of bed in the morning. I've been putting in loads of time and effort with her and shes coming on lovely. I've been wishing her life away looking forward to running her next season and seeing how good she will be. Then yesterday out of the blue I was offered a brilliant job with good pay which I just can't turn down. Only trouble is it involves regularly travelling all over the UK at short notice, lots of overnight stays and irregular hours . My wife works really long hours herself so theres not going to be anyone around to look after the dog. I know I should be thankful for the job but why the f**k now ? Sorry rant over. your doing the right thing lad at the end of the day you can always get another one in when your back on your feet and you never know it might even show more promise than this one  just make sure she gets a good permanent working home and im sure it will be alright in the end Quote Link to post
