FOXHUNTER 5,020
Me and Ratcherman were lamping last night even though the conditions were poor , full moon , very still and a mist in the air.... We lamped a small place where the farmer is forever losing ducks and hens , but every time we go you never see a fox This time we ventured right up to the top boundary where I got a glint of an eye in the long grass. Ratcherman steadied himself on the sticks and I gave a very quiet squeak with my lips. The fox responded immediately and started to trot in our direction until he was around 60 yards away. When he stopped Ratch duly dropped him on the spot A big dog fox in great condition ....No more ducks or hens for this vulpine !!! Quote Link to post
