Ferreting today

Just back in from ferreting today .we had the shotguns and the rabbits didn't want to play they hole hopped .But the young guy i took out managed to fire half a box of shells :ofor a few rabbit's .But he must of fired about a box at a weasel that was giving the ferrets a run about in the last burrow :laugh:and still didn't get it . I had a four foot dig at that burrow and got the rabbit out but it had been dead a few days and was covered in maggots .so maybe the weasel got it a few days before?

 

But yet again i picked up another net on this permission its starting to piss me off as im supposed to be the only one there but ive quiet a collect of pish nets now ,but this ones the best of the bunch a nice hemp net on two sliders with a metal peg and a nice wee red flag on it. LOL

its still good to get mate the same happened to use last week out with the guns rabbits just wernt shifting ended the day with 5 but these things happen theres always next time
