poor night

a poor night by recent standards.

i did get a few more than the picture suggests but i wasn't prepared to stick my arm in the filthy place they fell.i must be getting soft i hear you say.

me and a keeper friend did get 21 on sunday night at a different farm but we couldn't get enough light to take a picture.

Nice setup mate, any dead rat is a good night but its hard when your are use to shooting high numbers you just expect it ever time

I had a disapointing night on the rats tonight with Dillan NOT

 

May do a write up later or may not, but the long and short of it was I had lost count of the ones I shot but I didn't loose count of the number of misses, 6

Stood on two of the feckers one of them got away clean the other splattered under my right foot 3 of the ones we recovered were over 18inches in length, the biggest of the night made it down a hole, sod it I'll do it properly with pix on another thread

yes its a pulsar zini and its worth its weight in gold mate.

i did have a gen3 ad on before this which was a better picture but the type of shooting i do mostly brings me in contact with quite a few lights most of the time so the pulsar is more practical.

i've only had it a few months but its taken hundreds of rats already and the odd bunny too.
