MK2 Ferret Finder

Recommended Posts

Because they're all but usless, they pick up fence wire, tin cans, burried metal, pylons, taxi's, everything except your ferret, I had one for a year , the best thing it did was die so that I could buy a MK3m

I Have found the Mk3m very accurate, however, it still picks up mobile phones buried fences, telegraph lines, pylons and buried metal........ i really don't know how they can say it actively rejects interference.

They havn't got the volume (squelch?) knob that can be turned down to reduce sensitivity as you work closer to the lost ferret which is a far more usefull guide to its whereabouts than the Star Trek LED lights that flicker aimlessly away like a Hawkwind lazer show . And as said ,the collars seem to tick too quickly which means they eat batteries .
