BIGASH 2 Posted November 5, 2010 Report Share Posted November 5, 2010 Hi all this is my new ferret houseing got it off the motherinlaw used it for her chickens but was going to burn it due to very bad red mite problem.Anyway she said i could have it so i steam cleaned it red mite sprayed it and lots of bleach and disinfectant had to do some repairs to the roof and maybe a touch up of timber treatment abit later on tho filled it with shreeded paper and put some old camo netting ova for a good look lol looks good now ferrets love it get them out there pens first thing in the morning put all three togetha in the new house all day and get them in at night back in there pens hope u enjoy the pic and wright up many thanks .BIGASH . kobi2k4 2 Posted November 5, 2010 Report Share Posted November 5, 2010 that looks cool man, i have a simuler set up but without the slope, mine are in there all the time, just cut a peice of ply the same size as the opening on the bit that u would lift to get the eggs out of and drilled a 4" hole with the hole saw in it to let the ferrets get in and out dose the trick a goodun, oh and meshed the floor too, altho im changeing that soon as cos its a pain to get in and clean under the indoor bit. keep up the good work atb Danny Quote Link to post
