rolysmate 49
Never had one myself but over the years there aren"t many crosses that haven"t been tried, you"ll often see adds for pups from these various crosses for sale, in my opinion its just folk trying to reinvent the wheel Quote Link to post

AL BUNDY 45
a fella that lived down from me had one. it was left to do what it liked.at that time there was a few hares about here it would go out on its own it caught an odd one.it used to follow me when i went out but when it decided to leave it left.it would steal anything bird feeders ,fenn traps, seen it running up the street with workmans dinners.it was rehomed when it bit a boy.might have turned out okay if it had been trained. tylerasker 6
I have a welsh fox hound/ bull greyhound - saluki deerhound. He's 12 months old now and has an extremely acute nose. He is 26/27 tts and strong as an ox. He took 1st place in the puppy class 3 months ago. He is well bred and will make a very good hill foxing dog, I sadly have to part with him soon as I don't get the chance to do much day work anymore . He is out of the stuff off the fox hunt g by day with lurchers DVD. He is roughly 5 month old In my avatar. Easy to train and a very loyal dog. Marks rabbits and has caught me a fair few. william slater mcgregor 2
i had two bedlington x greyhound put to a foxhound then put to another foxhound, not sure what you would call that cross, anyway they were brother and sister ,I ran them with my hounds they could hunt very good but they didnt give any tongue, the bitch wasnt anywhere near as gutsy as the dog as she would be a bit hesitant but the dog had no reverse gear ,these were only used for daytime hunting with my other hounds and never tried on the lamp or single handed Quote Link to post
